Food is medicine

Here are some important rules to stick to when you have an end-stage disease of any kind:

1. Give Up Sugar.
For disease or illness of any kind, you should not eat any sugar apart from those naturally occurring in food, like fructose in fruit. Sugar feeds all disease, including tumours. If you are end-stage, it is wisest to not have any sweeteners, apart from those naturally occurring in fruit, like organic fruit juice. If you are not end-stage, the safest natural sweeteners to use are local honey, powdered lacuma and organic fruit juice. Agave syrup and xylitol are two natural sweeteners that are more processed than lacuma or honey and therefore more toxic, but they are still less toxic than sugar. Do not buy honey from the supermarket. Only local honey contains the natural antibiotics that are from your environment, which will work more effectively on your body, because they are local to you.  

Our immune system is closely linked to our environment and is dependent upon it. All refined carbohydrates, i.e. sugar, are very bad for your health and should be avoided at all costs. (But please remember our bee friends are struggling at the moment and need help too, so treat honey as the precious resource it is).

2. Use Herbal Medicine.
Obviously, cannabis is a herb, and ingesting cannabis oil is herbal medicine. But there are many other cancer-busting herbs that you should be using if you have end-stage cancer. Herbal medicine benefits all disease, not just cancer. These herbs are full of antioxidants, trace elements and minerals which we need to function at optimum health.

If you have excess stomach acid or gastrointestinal inflammation or ulceration, Slippery Elm Bark will treat it; it coats the stomach and soaks up acid, and is made from the inner bark of the elm tree. It is also a powerful anti-tumour herb. We highly recommend drinking herbal tea, regardless of your illness, disease or condition. Specific herbs can be tailored to specific diseases. See a fully qualified medical herbalist for further advice (they must be a member of NIMH). Medical herbalists have to study for the same length of time as a GP, which is seven years.

Essiac tea is a powerful anti-cancer mixture of Slippery Elm Bark, Sheep Sorrel, Burdock Root, and Indian Rhubarb Root. These four dried herbs can be bought separately from Baldwins.co.uk. Simply put a tablespoon of each herb into your tea pot, add boiled water & steep. Drink 4 times a day, every day. Add hemp leaf tea (and cannabis leaf tea if you can get it) as well. Please be aware that Slippery Elm and Rhubarb root often come in powdered from, because roots and barks are harder to process and often need to be powdered. Use them in the same way as the non-powdered herbs.

3. Eat a Healthy Diet.

Any disease cannot flourish in a healthy body. A healthy body means a healthy, vegan diet, alongside juicing raw food using organic fruit and vegetables. The deeper the colour, the higher the antioxidants, i.e. beetroot and carrots. Also juice plenty of green leafy vegetables that are high in vitamins and minerals, especially kale. Vitamin K, Magnesium and Selenium have powerful anti-cancer properties. If you can get fresh cannabis leaves, juice them too as they are high in nutrients as well as cannabinoids. 

Try a raw vegan diet. Give up meat, dairy and processed foods, as these are more likely to cause disease than heal it. Eat plenty of seeds & nuts, as these are high in vitamins & minerals.

Be aware that soya or tofu are processed and higher in toxins than unprocessed plant-based protein, like legumes. 

Try to eat organic whenever possible: the least amount of toxins in your body, the better. Try to find a good local health food shop or farmer’s market. You can buy a lot of tasty vegan, sugar-free food in health food shops now.

4. Helping with Weight Loss and Osteoporosis/arthritis: Coconut oil, hemp oil & nut butters.
To make sure you don’t lose weight (and because you may well be craving fat if you have gone vegan) supplement your diet with daily hemp oil and coconut oil, in abundance. Both these oils have tremendous health benefits: hemp oil is the most complete food source in the world, and it contains all the essential omega oils. Coconut oil contains a unique combination of fatty acids with powerful medicinal properties, & has been shown to help prevent colon cancer as well as having many other health benefits. Drink coconut water when you can get it, it has some wonderful health benefits and is also great for rehydration, because it is isotonic to human plasma. Avocados are another useful healthy way to gain weight.

Eat nut butter too when you crave fats.There are many delicious nut butters available now in health food shops: brazils and almonds are high in Magnesium and Phosphorus, which is essential for Calcium uptake (Magnesium deficiency is associated with small cell carcinomas.) Brazil nuts are also high in Calcium and Selenium, and Selenium can support the liver when it is overloaded with toxins. Apricot kernels are effective at killing cancer cells & contain Vitamin B17, so we also recommend eating apricot kernel butter. Buying your own food processor and learning how to make nut butters saves a lot of money.

For osteoporosis or arthritis, swap your butter or spread for Tahini, because it is rich in Calcium, Magnesium and other valuable minerals. 

5. Get to know your body well, and become your own doctor. Deal with your emotional problems as well as the physical.
All the above advice should be taken for any illness or disease, not just cancer. If you want to give yourself the best chance of survival, you need to give your body optimum disease-fighting conditions to heal in. Get to know your body as well as possible, learn how it works and give it the best chance at health. All illness stems from some kind of emotional dissonance or crisis and unless you address the issues which caused theses emits to arise, you are risking the disease returning. Try and see your illness as a healing crisis that has arisen because you need to make changes in your life. Treat it as a chance to learn about where you have been going wrong, physically and emotionally, and to transform your life.
